Billy Batson and his foster siblings continue to balance their everyday teenage lives with their superhero alter egos, granted by the wizard Shazam. As they struggle with their dual identities and the responsibility that comes with great power, the group faces doubts about their place in the world. Billy, especially, worries about aging out of the foster system and losing the only real family he’s ever known, causing tension as he tries to keep the group together as a team.

Their unity is soon tested by the arrival of the Daughters of Atlas—Hespera, Kalypso, and Anthea—ancient gods seeking revenge on the human world for stealing their powers. The villains arrive with a powerful magical staff, intent on reclaiming what they believe is rightfully theirs. With their father, Atlas, long gone, they view the Shazam family’s powers as a threat and a theft from the gods themselves. As chaos begins to spread, Philadelphia becomes a battleground for magic and destruction.

The Shazam family faces an uphill battle as they try to stop the sisters from unleashing monsters and using their magic to destroy Earth’s balance. Along the way, alliances shift—particularly with Anthea, the youngest of the three sisters, who begins to question her siblings' violent methods and motivations. Using all the magic within him, he manages to stop the destruction, though it seems he pays the ultimate price.
