Flatbush Luck (2016)

Flatbush Luck follows two Brooklyn cousins—Jimmy, a fast-talking ex–Wall Street player, and Max, his quiet, more conservative relative. Having fallen from high places, they now work as telephone repairmen, barely making ends meet. Jimmy is itching for a return to his glamorous past, while Max is busy preparing for his expensive upcoming wedding, though doubts begin to surface.\

Their ordinary lives take an unexpected twist when Jimmy overhears illegal insider trading during a work visit to a wealthy client’s home. Sensing an opportunity to strike it rich, he convinces Max to help him tap the phone line and profit from the criminal activity. What begins as a harmless scheme quickly spirals into danger when the cousins accidentally overhear a murder plot instead.

Now caught in something far more serious than they expected, the two find themselves unable to go to the police without revealing their own wrongdoing. Their attempts to fix the situation only complicate things further, leading to a series of comedic missteps and unexpected turns. As the tension builds, both men are forced to reconsider their values and choices.

Meanwhile, Max finds himself emotionally conflicted, especially after meeting Andres, a charming massage therapist. Their flirtation causes Max to reevaluate his engagement and question parts of himself he’s long suppressed. His personal awakening becomes an important subplot, adding a layer of emotional depth and authenticity to the story.
